On August 16, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) started a public consultation to hear from society about the draft Resolution that will regulate the application of sanctions. The draft Resolution sets out the criteria and parameters for application of sanctions and the methodology for calculation of administrative fines.

The public consultation will be available on the “Participa Mais Brasil” platform until September 15th (link in Portuguese: https://lnkd.in/dD9mDZGc).

Once the Resolution is published, the ANPD will be able to start applying sanctions.
