Return of pregnant employees to on-site work

Law 14.311/2022 was enacted on March 9, 2022, amending Law 14.151/2021, which has governed leave from on-site work for pregnant employees during the public health emergency resulting from Covid-19. Effective from the law’s publication date, pregnant employees who have not been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must not carry out on-site work. Where possible, they must remain available to carry out work duties remotely, without prejudice to remuneration.
