The deadline for drawing up the salary transparency report for the first half of 2024 has begun

--

On Monday, January 22,  there was another update regarding the recent Law on equal pay for equal work and compensation criteria between women and men (Law No. 14,611/2023), and it was announced by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) that companies that have 100 (one hundred) or more employees will have between January 22, and February 29, 2024 to complete – or rectify – the salary transparency report regarding the first semester of 2024.

According to MTE’s internal regulation, the salary transparency report will be composed of data extracted from eSocial and “Emprega Brasil” Portal, and recently the link for the  access to this portal – https://servicos.mte.gov.br/empregador/#/ – was released for the companies to report the following complementary information:

a) existence or non-existence of career and job/salary plans.

b) compensation criteria for access and progression or advancement of employees’ careers.

c) the existence of incentive plans to hire women.

d) identification of criteria adopted by the employer for promotion to positions of leadership, management and director positions; and

e) the existence of initiatives or programs by the employer supporting the sharing of family obligations.

With the data extracted from eSocial and “Emprega Brasil” Portal, MTE will prepare the salary transparency report regarding the first semester of 2024 and will release it in March on the Labor Statistics Dissemination Program platform. This report should also be published by companies in places that ensure its wide publicity.
