On October 18, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) published guidelines regarding cookies and personal data. The document aims to guide data processing agents on the best practices regarding cookies, such as the preparation of a cookies notice and the correct use of cookies banners, while also addressing the legal bases applicable in different circumstances (especially consent vs. legitimate interest).
