Alexei has been working in the energy sector for over 24 years. He is specialized in energy, civil, regulatory, administrative and litigation law. He has experience in investment and divestment operations in the energy industry, auctions, structuring, grants, authorizations and project implementation, in complex regulatory issues in renewable and non-renewable energy generation, transmission, distribution, distributed generation and energy trading in the regulated and non-regulated energy market, with extensive experience before Energy Federal Regulator (ANEEL), Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization  (CCEE), Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), Energy Research Office (EPE) and Independent Power Operator (ONS).

Chief Executive Officer of the Brazilian Association of Electricity Companies – ABCE. Member of the Advisory Board of the Energy Research Company – EPE. Vice President of the São Paulo State Energy Industry Union (Sindienergia) and of the Forum of Power Sector Associations (FASE). Member of the Infrastructure Council of the Industry National Confederation (CNI). Former president of the Energy Environment Forum (FMASE), vice-president and legal director of international and national power companies and director of the energy division of the Power Industry Federation of State of São Paulo (FIESP). Author of books, articles and lecturer on energy issues and regulatory law.
